My Beginning

First, I thank God. Second, I thank Yuxibu. About my story—I want to tell you my story.

I learned through my visions, through my ancestors, and through my work. When I was a child, around seven, eight, and nine years old, I often wondered how I would work and how I could live in this world by contributing, sharing, and serving others Whenever I sat with the medicine, it showed me the way. Yuxibu guided my work, my mission, and my responsibilities. The spiritual work I do today came through the strength of the vine. I learned the sacred songs through Nixi Pae. Through my visions I could see stories, and Yuxibu showed me that our responsibility is to trust one another and help one another. This is my strength. This is my work.

My Journey

Today this opportunity has come for me to work together with you, and that makes me very happy. I struggled through many things in my past, but today I am happy because I am living and working through my spiritual path. I feel that I have reached a new stage in my life. I want to share my origin.

I am Huni Kuin. I am 31 years old. You came to know me through my Uncle Yawa Bané. He brought us together and made this meeting possible. Today I am happy to tell you my story. Today I work with respect, organization, truth, and with the right people. I have reached this point in my life, and now I think about my future. This work and this strength have brought me to work alongside you, my Uncle Yawa Bané, and everyone in the Lago Lindo group. Together we can strengthen our work, our projects, and our community. I want to continue sharing my story. I want to strengthen our experiences. I want to strengthen our wisdom.

My Truth

This is my story. This is my spirit. This is my truth. It lives in my heart, in my mind, and in my spiritual being. Today I tell my story, and I would be happy if, through this work together, it could be carried anywhere in the world. To tell this story. To sing these songs. To sing with spirituality. To carry this message to the world. That is what I continue learning. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to work together. This is the path I have been seeking through my vision.

Learning from My Father and the Forest

Today I can say that my father has a sacred place. I took the medicine with him there. I studied with him. He gave me the opportunity to seek the vision of my ancestors. He taught me how to prepare the medicine, the rapé, and the medicinal baths. That is how I learned this work. Today I work with responsibility. I carry the knowledge of the forest. I carry the strength of the medicines. I carry the sacred songs. I carry the knowledge of my people, the Huni Kuin of the Jordão River.

As a young man, I care about both our present and our future. I continue seeking knowledge and sharing it. I want to deepen my knowledge. I want to fulfill my responsibility toward my family, my group, and my village. When I opened my vision through the medicine, Yuxibu showed me and spoke to me. He showed me the path of goodness and truth so we could build an alliance among the peoples of the forest. This is the wisdom I carry in my heart. Everything I have learned has come from the forest.

My Voice

I work through the songs of the forest. The medicine guides me. It helps me sing for the original peoples of the forest. My voice sings for nature. My voice sings for strength. My voice sings for truth. My voice sings for love. My voice sings for peace. We want to bring good things through our group. We want people to know our truth. We want people to know our strength. Today I understand the struggles I have passed through.

Today I walk together with you. I want to open my voice. I want to help one another. I want to continue working together. Today I trust you. I will continue working with truth so that people may leave happy.

Looking Toward the Future

Now I have learned to tell the stories of the forest and the stories of my spiritual strength. I want to understand them more every day. I want to work better for all of us. I want to help carry this path. I am ready to bring this message. I want to continue learning. I want to share this message with the world. Everything I carry comes from my ancestors, my spiritual being, my mind, and my heart. Every day I want to learn more from the strength of the forest. Together we will keep our group strong. I also want to connect people with my sacred place in Aldeia Nova Empresa and with our partnership in Lago Lindo. Every day we learn together. Every day we become more connected. Every day we meditate in the forest. That makes our path stronger.

My Invitation

My name is José Deusmar Sales Kaxinawá. I am Huni Kuin from Acre. On Instagram I am known as Txana Xina Bena Nixiwaká. I give thanks to Yuxibu and to my ancestors. I live in Aldeia Nova Empresa, at Campo Sagrado. I am the son of Gildo Bané.

I believe in Yuxibu. I believe in our sacred place. I want to open this sacred space and invite people to share our stories. I want to welcome people with friendship. I want to care for them with responsibility. We need friends and partnerships who will walk beside us. We already have a beautiful place prepared to receive people. Now we want to strengthen our community. I want to help improve my village. I want to help improve my community. I share this message with responsibility and truth.

This is my story. This is my present. This is my future. This is the work I do today. This is the future I am building

Meu Começo

Primeiro eu agradeço a Deus. Segundo eu agradeço a Yuxibu. Agora eu quero contar a minha história.

Eu aprendi através das minhas visões, dos meus ancestrais e do meu trabalho. Quando eu era criança, com sete, oito e nove anos, eu pensava como podia viver neste mundo, contribuir, compartilhar e ajudar as pessoas. Quando eu tomava a medicina, ela me mostrava o caminho. Yuxibu guiava o meu trabalho, a minha missão e as minhas responsabilidades. O trabalho espiritual que faço hoje eu aprendi com a força do cipó. Aprendi as cantorias através da força da medicina. Nas minhas visões eu via histórias. Yuxibu me mostrava que todos nós temos responsabilidade de confiar e ajudar uns aos outros. Essa é a minha força. Esse é o meu trabalho.

Minha Caminhada

Hoje chegou essa oportunidade para eu trabalhar junto com você. Isso me deixa muito feliz. Eu lutei muito no meu passado. Hoje estou feliz porque estou vivendo e trabalhando na minha matéria espiritual. Sinto que cheguei em uma nova etapa da minha vida. Quero compartilhar a minha origem.

Eu sou Huni Kuin. Tenho 31 anos. Você me conheceu através do meu tio Yawa Bané. Foi ele que trouxe essa oportunidade para a gente se encontrar. Hoje fico feliz em contar a minha história. Hoje trabalho com respeito, organização, verdade e com as pessoas certas. Hoje penso no meu futuro. Essa força e esse trabalho me trouxeram para trabalhar junto com você, com meu tio Yawa Bané e com todo o grupo do Lago Lindo. Quero fortalecer nosso trabalho. Nossos projetos. Nossa comunidade. Quero continuar compartilhando minha história. Quero fortalecer nossas experiências. Quero fortalecer nossa sabedoria.

Essa é Minha História

Essa é a minha história. Esse é o meu espírito. Essa é a minha verdade. Tudo isso vive no meu coração, na minha cabeça e na minha matéria espiritual. Quero que essa história possa chegar em qualquer lugar do mundo. Quero contar essa história. Quero cantar esses cantos. Quero cantar com espiritualidade. Quero levar essa mensagem para o mundo. Aprendendo com Meu Pai e com a Floresta

Meu pai tem um espaço sagrado. Foi lá que tomei a medicina com ele. Foi lá que estudei com ele. Ele me ensinou a preparar a medicina, o rapé e os banhos de medicina. Foi assim que aprendi esse trabalho. Hoje trabalho com responsabilidade. Carrego o conhecimento da floresta. A força das medicinas. As cantorias. O conhecimento do meu povo Huni Kuin do Rio Jordão. Como jovem, penso no nosso presente e no nosso futuro. Continuo buscando conhecimento. Continuo compartilhando conhecimento. Quero cumprir minha responsabilidade com minha família, meu grupo e minha aldeia. Quando abri minha visão através da medicina, Yuxibu me mostrou o caminho do bem e da verdade. Ele me mostrou que precisamos buscar uma aliança entre os povos da floresta. Essa sabedoria vive no meu coração. Tudo o que aprendi veio da floresta.

Meu Trabalho

Eu trabalho através dos cantos da floresta. A medicina me guia. Minha voz canta para a natureza. Para a força. Para a verdade. Para o amor. Para a paz. Queremos que as pessoas conheçam nossa verdade. Queremos que conheçam nossa força Hoje entendo as lutas que passei. Hoje caminho junto com você. Quero abrir minha voz. Quero ajudar uns aos outros. Quero continuar trabalhando junto. Hoje eu confio em você. Vou continuar trabalhando com verdade. Quero ver as pessoas felizes.

Olhando para o Futuro

Aprendi a contar as histórias da floresta e da minha força espiritual. Quero entender cada vez mais. Quero trabalhar cada vez melhor para todos nós. Quero ajudar a levar esse caminho. Estou pronto para levar essa mensagem. Quero continuar aprendendo. Quero compartilhar essa mensagem com o mundo. Tudo o que carrego vem dos meus ancestrais, da minha matéria espiritual, da minha cabeça e do meu coração. Todos os dias quero aprender mais com a força da floresta. Juntos vamos fortalecer nosso grupo. Quero conectar as pessoas com meu espaço sagrado na Aldeia Nova Empresa e com nossa parceria no Lago Lindo. Cada dia aprendemos juntos. Cada dia nos conectamos mais. Cada dia meditamos na floresta. Assim fortalecemos nosso caminho.
